This position is primarily responsible for the implementation of all cash management product offerings by the Business Services division at MidWestOne Bank. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Training customers on how to effectively utilize the products in accordance with their business needs, obtaining all necessary account information and documentation from the customer for new service set up as well as supporting the Business Services sales team and Commercial/Ag Bankers with cash management product offering. 


  • Contributes to the implementation and ongoing maintenance of MidWestOne Bank’s cash management technology. Participates in planning, testing, communication, and documentation related to technology.
  • Delivers an ideal implementation of business and cash management services utilizing industry best practices.
    • Ensures the completion of required documentation.
    • Sets up new cash management services according to applicable banking guidelines and regulations.
    • Schedules installation and training with customer for all cash management services via face-to-face or electronic interactions with a customer (Online Cash Manager—OCM, bill pay, electronic statements, remote deposit capture, ACH and wire functionality, positive pay, business credit cards, etc.
    • Makes sure all new and existing cash management services are properly charged or has the appropriate exception approvals if applicable
    • Scans required implementation documents in MidWestOne Bank’s document retrieval system.
  • Acts as an escalation point for complex business customer resolution and acknowledges customer inquiries in an appropriate manner—no more than 24 hours from the date of initial request.
  • Expands existing relationships by suggesting additional business services and cash management to business customers and refers to Treasury Management Sales.
  • Documents incidents and activities relating to customer interaction on a daily basis.




High school diploma or equivalent. Secondary education preferred, not required. Minimum three (3) years of banking experience preferred.


Position requires a high degree of accuracy. Familiarity with general computer software. Ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions, weighing customer satisfaction issues with Bank exposure to loss or fraud.
