Overview

Provides a variety of support and assistance relating to marketing department projects and assignments. . Special project assistance includes but is not limited to the development, planning and execution of large scale sponsorships and special events.

Responsibilities

 

-Executes and/or assists bank public relations and sponsorship initiatives to maximize positive brand exposure.

 

-Assists in execution of direct mail initiatives.

 

-Assists with preparation of promotional materials for the offices.

 

-Assists with special events, including, but not limited to parades, festivals, customer appreciation events, large scale bank festivals..

 

-Serves as the production and volunteer coordinator for MidWestOne Bank’s annual chalk art festival, Rock the Chalk.

 

-Develops a summer long project that will be written, planned and executed by the employee with guidance and assistance from the Community Relations Manager.

 

-Assists with administrative tasks that relate directly to the MidWestOne Bank Foundation, bank sponsorships, donations and community involvement.

 

-Assists with outreach and community involvement strategies for year-round initiatives.

 

-Represents the bank at major summer festivals and events.

 

-Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

High school education is preferred.  Experience with bank marketing is also preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
