  • Overview

    Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through actively promoting and selling consumer loans in addition to all other deposit accounts and services. Provides financial advice and solutions by exploring the customers current and future needs. Identifies opportunities to connect customers with other business lines to establish a full banking relationship. Performs in a leadership role to assist less experienced Bankers in their development or to meet and resolve customer needs. Actively participates in proactive customer outreach initiatives and community events. May assist with operational duties, including banking transactions, and may fill in at various locations as requested.




    • Identifies needs for retail customers by asking open ended questions to recommend appropriate accounts, services and consumer loans and performs necessary tasks to establish and/or update them as needed
    • Originates all types of consumer loans/lines of credit by interviewing customers, gathering appropriate data, providing the best solutions, based on their needs in accordance with our loan policy and procedures
    • Collects and analyzes financial related data to document the specific loan request as well as creditworthiness of borrower
    • Works, as needed, to assist with past dues or collection accounts
    • Participates in business development programs and proactive customer outreach campaigns to achieve sales goals and actively uses bank technology to track related activities and progress towards goals
    • Proactively identifies and makes referrals to other business lines and connects customer to the appropriate employee
    • Embraces leadership opportunities within the branch by
      • Volunteering for community organizations and participating in community events
      • Acting in a leadership capacity when Manager, ARM, or Senior Banker is not available
      • Assisting with development of sales skills
      • Assists with complex consumer, fiduciary, and business ownership accounts and relevant services.
      • Providing overrides and assistance with difficult customer situations
    • Provides back up for operational duties or banking transactions as requested
    • Performs other responsibilities based on branch traffic and needs


    Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    May be required to register with the NMLS and submit to a criminal background check.
