  • Overview

    The EIM Specialist, is responsible for a variety of operational and service support for front line branch personnel involving expertise in exception item processing to include stop payment, non-post and non-sufficient funds processing on a daily basis. The EIM Specialist role requires an understanding of regulatory guidelines governing duties of EIM.

    Responsibilities

    • Inputs pay or return decisions on non-sufficient fund items and completes the processing of the non-sufficient fund items daily
    • Ensure prompt and timely resolution of non-post items
    • Review and process stop payment items
    • Process unauthorized ACH debits
    • Review and process the ACH returns
    • Process chargebacks and returns on a daily basis
    • Resolve adjustments
    • Monitor daily and prepare a monthly Reg CC Report for compliance
    • Review and update procedures relation to this job description at least annually
    • Perform back-up duties as assigned
    • Assure compliance with all bank polices and procedures as well as applicable state and federal banking regulations
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent is required.  Some post-high school education is preferred in the area of business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
