  • Overview

    Oversees the management of the branch facility to ensure that effective staffing, security, operations, customer service, and business development efforts are in place. Helps manage mix of sales, service, and operational responsibilities of office staff. Solicits and develops new business through proactive efforts and walk-in activities, retail and small commercial. Is responsible for the branch facility's budget: planning and managing to approved expenses and cost controls, and meeting revenue projections. Experience with mortgage, commercial, and retail banking would be beneficial

    Responsibilities

     

    • Solicits and develops new business through proactive efforts and walk-in activities: retail and small commercial.
    • Directs and executes sales management activities for self and for the branch team: sales meetings, profiling of customers and prospects, business development calls, referrals, tracking, submittal of reports, etc.
    • Interviews applicants and closes all types of consumer loans, determining the creditworthiness of the applicant and the merits of the specific loan request.
    • Is responsible for the branch facility's budget: planning and managing to approved expenses and cost controls, and meeting revenue projections.
    • Is responsible for overall communications and accountabilities of branch operations, security, service and sales goals and objectives.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    May be required to register with the NMLS and submit to a criminal background check.
