This position is a Retail Operations role which provides a variety of higher-level administrative support to the team and to other bank departments with a retail impact. Provides technical support to Retail Operations Officers for retail operations related systems. Compiles and acts on retail operations information. Prepares and assists with the facilitation of operations communications and training.

Responsibilities

  • Completes Daily Cash Reconciliation report for Retail Operations Officer review.
  • Assists in monitoring and review of variances to system overrides of daily cash orders/deposit reviews at the branches:
    • Ensures accuracy and submission within allotted timeframes;
    • Performs monthly related reporting.
  • Provides support for administration, maintenance, and communications relating to various retail operations related systems or equipment including but not limited to recyclers, interface software for teller software and recyclers, along with source capture solutions software:
    • Serves in a co-administrator role for frontline teller system administration including set up and removal of new/retired users as well as set up and removal of new/retired branches;
    • Assists with administration of the cash forecasting solution including set up and removal of new/retired users as well as set up and removal new/retired branches;
    • Assists with account opening software and branch capture administration;
    • Refers more complex matters to the IT Help Desk.
  • Reviews and documents Deposit Rate Changes completed by Data Processing as needed.
  • Creates, updates, and reviews procedures and forms on a regular basis to ensure compliance to regulations, laws, and efficient processes.
  • Assists in review or preparation of internal department resources and procedures.
  • Responsible for OneStop procedural and form content for assigned Retail Operations-related departments, including the following:
    • Posts items for Operations and frontline retail teams;
    • Oversees internal intranet support pages created by the Bank’s Operations teams to ensure the needs of users are met;
    • Communicates updates to retail users;
    • Performs periodic reviews and maintenance to keep pages current.
  • Compiles and distributes information to Retail Team Leaders and Senior Management Leaders specific to operational reporting and monitoring.
  • Gathers/creates Ops Zone newsletter content from Operations teams; completes and distributes final product to bank personnel with a retail impact.
  • Coordinates Ops Zone webinars:
    • Organizes presenters;
    • Coordinates materials and may assist with creation of webinar content;
    • May assist with presenting information;
    • Prepares recording
  • Coordinates annual record retention for Retail frontline and Retail Operations Department.
  • Participates in, and may lead continuous improvement efforts such as mini lean activities, lean activities, key process reviews and other focused activities to identify and implement efficiencies.
  •  and related communications.
  • Assists in the vendor management review process under the direction of the Department Team Leader:
    • Compiles analysis information;
    • Completes annual user access review;
    • Aids in review of policies, procedures, and retail operations-related forms.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • In addition to education in business or a related field, a minimum of 1 year of experience in an operations support or retail frontline role is required.
  • Banking or financial institution experience is required.

Compensation

Hiring Pay Range: $24-$28

The starting pay range for this position is commensurate with experience. The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
