The Service Center Trainer leads training for the Service Banker team. The Service Center Trainer acts as a “go-to” for Service Bankers to ensure training needs are met. The hours for this position are expected to align with the department’s primary open hours Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Leads new employee training and onboarding
  • Leverages Service Banker II’s to assist with new hire training
  • Leads continuous training efforts with existing Service Banker I and Service Banker II employees
  • Assists with coaching of employees
  • Assist with scheduling trainings on team schedule
  • May conduct routine coaching sessions with Service Banker I employees
  • Establishes training plan and schedule for new hires and ensures completion of their Training Plans
  • Regularly updates training plan based on employee feedback
  • Develops associates’ skills and encourages growth
  • Develops, initiates, and maintains communication updates to the Service Cnter team
  • Organizes mentors within the Service Center team for new employees
  • Provides leadership, guidance and solutions for exceptions and sensitive customer situations.
  • Assists with interviewing/selecting candidates for the Service Center
  • Coordinates and assists in conducting monthly team meetings
  • Creates on-going product and service training specific to the department
  • Develops and maintains training and support materials to assist team members with daily responsibilities.
  • Collaborates with Service Banker II’s on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintains strong communications with the Service Center Managing Officer on progress, problems and situations encountered
  • Actively participates in community events to demonstrate support for MWO culture
  • Performs other duties based on department traffic and needs.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent with some related work experience.
  • Banking or financial instituition experience required.
